At this stage, I work with you to define the concept, answer any practical questions and provide guidance on timings and the options available. Preparing for the photo shoot
Once the objective has been clarified, I move on to the technical and logistical preparations. This involves selecting the most suitable location, planning the lighting, choosing any accessories or extra equipment, and, in some cases, liaising with make-up artists and stylists. Every detail helps to create the right atmosphere: even a personal portfolio, which may seem simple, can become something special thanks to careful preparation.
Photo shoot
The day of the shoot is when everything comes to life. This is where not only photographic technique – lighting, composition, equipment – comes into play, but also the ability to guide people in front of the camera. Many clients aren’t professional models, so my job is to put them at ease, give natural guidance and turn tension into spontaneity. When I’m documenting a transformation, however, my approach is more discreet: I observe, anticipate the moments and leave room for things to happen naturally without forcing them.

Fashion Photography: Lookbook for an Italian tailoring brand
Rosario Visconti is an Italian haute couture brand. We created a lookbook for the e-commerce site and a short promotional video for the brand’s online launch.
The project began with a briefing with the client, during which we created a mood board and drew up the guidelines on which to base the work.
The project resulted in the creation of lookbook shots featuring models and still-life images for e-commerce.
A short inspirational video showcasing the collection was also produced for social media, to accompany the brand’s online launch.
